Having originally read and enjoyed Polly and the Puffin, I was delighted to receive this little gem in the post. An almost follow on from when Polly originally met Neil the Puffin, this tells the story of what happened when a storm came to their little seaside town.
I read this one again to my niece and she loved it. It's easy for children to follow and understand and the pictures really capture their attention and add to the story telling. I adore the setting in the little seaside village and my niece definitely did too as she kept saying about going to the sea for ages afterwards (obviously on a sunny day).
The activities at the back are also always fun and we are making our way through some of them.
Once again Jenny has told a heartwarming, charming and uplifting tale with a little underlying message to take away.
