Review

I love the cover of this book. It's so striking with the pink and white and when I have seen it in bookshops, it is the first book that you see. I must say that I greatly prefer it to the US cover. The US one doesn't have that same 'pick me up and read me' feel to it, whereas the UK version does.

I really really enjoyed this! What a fantastic premise for a book! A group of teenagers who accidentally develop telepathy from their flu vaccination. Nothing you think will ever be private again!

All the characters in this were brilliant and the narrative of the book means you get almost all of class 10B's points of view. But the character I found myself relating to the most was Olivia. She's really shy and doesn't say a lot as she is always worrying about what people think about her and if she says something will they think she's stupid. So when she develops telepathy along with the rest of 10B, things she normally keeps to herself in her head are heard by everyone else who has telepathy and she begins to overcome her shyness. Made me kind of wish I had telepathy at school lol!

This was so much fun to read. Even though you would think gaining telepathic powers would make the book have more of a sci fi feel, it didn't feel like that at all. I can see why the publishers have put it in the contemporary category as it's still everyday high school and home life drama, just that a few of them have telepathic powers. I also liked the emotional aspect of the book that I wasn't quite expecting, so even though it is an enjoyable read, it still has a serious aspect to it that makes it more real.

I am so excited this is a series and the cover of the next book also looks fantastic! I shall definitely be reading on!

A fun, quick easy read and I cannot wait to read more!
