I thought I would share with you some of the awesome books I received for christmas that I will be taking with me into 2014!
1. Cupcakes at Carringtons by Alexandra Brown
Cupcakes at Carringtons has been on my wish list for ages, so this was a brilliant book to open on Christmas morning from my Auntie.
2. The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
My wonderful friend Natasha Masters got me this beautiful edition of The Great Gatsby from the Folio Society. She had clearly put a lot of thought into this and I was incredibly touched. I will be keeping it very safe!
3. Life After Life by Kate Atkinson
This was a surprise present from my Mum. She very rarely buys me books as she normally thinks, oh she'll already have that one lol, so this was lovely. I am very intrigued by the storyline.
4. The Wild Girl by Kate Forsyth
This beautiful book is from my Nanny. I love fairytales and it was such a great book to open on Christmas day.
5. I Heart New York by Lindsay Kelk
To all you die hard I Heart fans I can only apologise for being so incredibly late on the uptake of this series. But hey I'm starting now and who says you have to read a book as soon as it comes out? It doesn't take away from the enjoyment of it :).
So those are the 5 awesome reads that I received for Christmas. I can't wait to start them!
