The Little Mermaid and Other Fairytales Blog Tour

Fairytales are stories that will stay with us for generations to come and with the first fairytale thought to have been created in the 17th century it is very unlikely they will cease. Children and adults alike love them, especially the Hans Christian Anderson tales and Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima are bringing them even more to life in their beautiful fully illustrated and interactive books of these fairytales. From Peter Pan, The Jungle Book and Beauty and the Beast, their latest stunning book to add to the collection is The Little Mermaid and Other Fairytales.

If you haven't heard of Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima, they are the amazing creators of all the artwork in the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films. All those wanted posters, The Daily Prophet newspaper, books and more are down to these two incredible talented people. Back in 2015 they launched a dedicated MinaLima gallery and store, showcasing their entire treasury of graphic works. House of MinaLima seeks to create an experiential space, celebrating the idiosyncracies of their work for the Harry Potter franchise as well as their own creations.

If you are huge harry Potter fan, this is not a place to be missed. With four floors and each one showcasing their different artworks, it is sure to delight any Harry Potter fan! Also they so change the floors every so often and there might just be a fairytale esque one coming soon!

Last week I had the absolute pleasure of meeting both Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima at their MinaLima store. They were both so welcoming and more than happy to speak with (I think I sounded a little crazy, but I was in so much awe of meeting them both). I was delighted that they both signed my copy of Peter Pan and also announced that after the publication of The Secret Garden later this year there are still twelve more books to come! I will be making sure that I have enough space in on my shelves!

Thank you to Harper 360 for the invite to The Little Mermaid launch and for also having me as part of the tour.
