Review

Although this is the second book in the Full Hearts series, you do not need to read book one before you start reading Breaking Love, which is exactly how I have started this steamy series!

I must admit, that I didn't really have high expectations when I began reading this, not that they were low, it's just that I wasn't sure how this novel could be different from all the others. I am however pleased to say that Breaking Love more than exceeded my expectations and was proven very wrong in my predictions as to how it would go!

I absolutely loved MJ Summers story writing, she really manages to suck you in and I was actually quite surprised at how engrossing I found Luc and Megan's story.

Luc has it all. Money, cars, women and lives in Paris. You could say he is every woman's dream, but no woman has been able to get Luc to settle down; that is until he meets Megan. Megan is a single Mum and she isn't looking for love. Having been hurt badly before, she doesn't want to let another man come into her and her son's lives; but she hadn't banked on meeting Luc! Can two people who aren't looking for love, manage to see what is right in front of them?

This story also had a depth to it that you might not necessarily expect. Luc and Megan are both complicated characters and although this made for some great reading, at the same time it was frustrating. There were many times in this where I really wanted to bang their heads together at their stupidity and brought on self-misery. They infuriatingly keep denying their feelings for one another when it is so obvious that what they have is special.

Despite the occasional frustrations, this was an incredibly enjoyable read. It's steamy, it's romantic, it's full of drama and passion. A seriously engrossing, unputdownable read. I will now be backtracking and reading the first book in the Full Hearts series.
