Showcase Sunday #29

Showcase Sunday is hosted by Vickie at Books Biscuits and Tea. The aim of this event is to highlight our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders each week. For more information about how this feature works and how to join in, click here.

To Have and To Hold by Helen Chandler (To be reviewed)
Undertaking Love by Kat French (Goodreads win)
Strange Girls and Ordinary Women by Morgan McCarthy (To be reviewed)
Black Box by Cassia Leo (To be reviewed)

Apologies for the quality of pictures, think I need a better phone! I love it when publishers do cool PR things with books. It may seem obvious putting a book called Black Box in a black box, but they could have easily have just sent the book and not done anything with it. It felt quite special opening it. I have had my first Goodreads win this year and won another on Thursday which I will hopefully get next week :).

So those are my books this week, as always do let me know yours :)

  1. Oo I'd read something about Strange Girls and Ordinary Women, it looks really good so I hope you enjoy it! Such a nice cover as well :D

  2. I think it's kinda cool that publishers put the effort into promoting the book by making it unique and memorable. It looks like you've got four really interesting books this week, I hope you enjoy them.

  3. I love the box for the book! It definitely shows extra effort and I can see how it would make opening it all up feel more special. I'm very intrigued by Strange Girls and Ordinary Women. The title itself is intriguing. Have a great week!

  4. What a fun idea to put it in a black box. It might be obvious, but I like it when they pay attention to such details :D Happy reading!

  5. Great haul :)
I loved Undertaking Love when I read it last year.
