Fractured by Teri Terry

SYNOPSIS

How do you know where to go when you don't remember where you came from?

Kyla's memory has been erased,
her personality wiped blank,
her memories lost for ever.

Or so she thought.

Kyla shouldn't be able to remember anything. But she can - and she's beginning to realise that there are a lot of dark secrets locked away in her memories. When a mysterious man from her past comes back into her life, she thinks she's on her way to finding the truth. But the more she learns about her history, the more confusing her future becomes...

Set in a disturbing future world, FRACTURED is an engrossing, fast-paced read that establishes Teri Terry as a master thriller writer

REVIEW

I still cannot believe how late I am in the uptake of this series! The second book in the trilogy was incredible! So many twists and turns and unexpected shocking events!

To those who have read Slated, you will know how far Kyla has come and what she has found out and I'm sure like me, it had you desperate to read Fractured. To those that are yet to read Slated, do not worry, I will not give anything away!

I felt like I had my heart in my mouth whilst reading this, Teri was literally playing around with my emotions! The amount of times I gasped and went NO! I don't think I have read a book that throws you so much with all the unexpected twists and outcomes.

I loved the way all the characters were developed so well. You really don't know who to trust, but I will leave it there for you to figure out yourselves.

The only slight criticism I had for this one was I thought the beginning was a little bit too slow, BUT a quarter of the way in, it massively picked up the pace and then it felt like a race to the end. When the action kicked in, it tipped over to make Fractured even better than Slated!

Argh there's so much more I want to say, but can't as it will spoil it, so I will leave it there. I am now diving in head first into Shattered!

4.5/5
